T for Tuesday

This is my first post on Elisabeth's T for Tuesday. My T today is all about getting over a pesky cough-I am literally drinking lovely lemon zinger with an added packet of emergence C 1000. Hopeful I can get back on my feet again and back to work. YUCK this stuff likes to linger. Any other suggestions or quick remedies? Hugs to all C

I like the Bigelow Lemon Lift but haven't tried the Celestial Seasonings Lemon Zinger. It sounds like something that would appeal to me, so I'll definitely try it. Thx! Happy T Tuesday :)

Sorry to hear you are under the weather. If you can stand it, try a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and a teaspoon of honey in hot water. I usually have it in a cup of tea instead of the hot water. I also use 2 teaspoons of honey (instead of just one) to kill the vinegar taste. Honey supposedly has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. ACV has antibacterial properties, too, but honey tastes better. =^,.^= Hope you feel better soon.

Welcome Cathee. So very, very glad you joined us this week. Sorry I'm late visiting. I stayed in bed most of the day because I felt much like you feel. I hope you are better soon, and stay warm, drink lots of fluids (like you are doing), wash your hands often, and get tons of rest.

Your tea is perfect for what ails you and the added Vitamin C will help. I have never had lemon zinger, but will look for it at the grocery store the next time I go. Thanks so much for joining us for T this Tuesday.

Nice to meet you Cathee. I don't have a Keurig but I bet it makes a cup of tea so easy. And sorry to hear you have on of those pesky coughs. So many people seem to have them. I bought some Korean citron and honey tea on Amazon. It's like a jelly that comes in a jar and you mix it in hot water, and I suck it down when I am sick. Really lemon. :) Loving your blog header too. Hugs-Erika

We just bought a Kerig machine and I was wondering what kind of tea they had available. Looks so yummy. I love lemon! I will have to get some of these.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate

Well hello Cathee and welcome to the T-Party. I hope you feel better soon. You are not the only one that has been ill. And you are right in saying that this one really lingers....
I sometimes have lemon Zinger (of a different brand of course) and I often squeeze some real lemon in it too.
As I said: get well soon.
Happy belated T-Day,
Lisca

A cough is an awfull thing, had my last bronchitis (in april/may 2017) over 7 weeks and feeds of it have until today. Don't know a truly powerful substance again... vitamin C is always helpful. Get well soon.
Sending you a healing light
